72% of companies that suffer major data loss close within 24 months.
Despite this fact there are an alarming number of companies that think backups are optional, or don’t assign the appropriate resources to making sure their backup and DR strategy is viable.
Your data is your most valuable asset, but for most companies it’s also the most undervalued. A single data loss is estimated to cost companies an average of £2000 in lost revenue and time to recreate the lost data, when it could have been avoided for a fraction of that cost.
Secure, offsite data backups and a tested Disaster Recovery plan are not a luxury, they are a MUST HAVE for every business. Being prepared for any disaster large or small is now both easily achievable and affordable.
Systeq offer a number of solutions to ensure your business IT is fully protected should the worst happen. Whether your infrastructure is on-premise or in the cloud we have solutions to ensure your data is fully protected. From simple file level data backups, application backups or Microsoft 365 through to VM level backups and full DR sites. We can even integrate with your existing backup solution to provide offsite storage and additional copies of your backups if required.
Unless otherwise stated we do not store all copies of data in the Public Cloud. Public cloud certainly has its place, but we believe its unsecure nature means you need an alternative option. Data is stored in our own, secure Private Cloud infrastructure.
It’s vital to keep at least one copy of your data offsite to safeguard against fire, flood etc, but how to achieve that has long been a problem. Tapes are unreliable and easily damaged, and often remain onsite longer than they should. Cloud backup is the answer to this long standing problem.
Our Cloud Backup solution can backup data, applications such as Exchange and SQL or full VM image level backups straight to our private cloud infrastructure. We use Incremental transfer technology and client side compression to transfer as little data as possible, minimising bandwidth requirements and vastly reducing backup times, whilst military grade encryption ensures your data is secure at all times.

Key features and Benefits
User-friendly
Define your own schedules, number of versions and what to backup with the easy to use client software. No maths degree required!
Secure
All data is stored using military grade encryption, with optional client side encryption using a password known only to you.
Fast
Incremental transfer technology and client side compression before transfer reduces backup time and bandwidth usage.
Scalable
Flexible packages to suit most businesses. Change plans Up or Down at any time, so you only pay for the storage you need.
Complete
Backup any files without restriction. Online backups of applications including Exchange, SharePoint and SQL and full VM images.
Geo-redundant*
Data is replicated between 3 servers on 2 continents, so you can be sure your data is secure against even the largest disaster.
*For compliance some businesses may have a requirement to store all data in the same geographic location. On request we can provide redundancy at multiple datacenters in the same country in many locations including England, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Australia and the Netherlands.

Ideally paired with our Cloud Backup solution for the ultimate security, our Onsite solution is also available separately should you require.

Many people think backup and disaster recovery are the same thing. Whilst there is a clear relationship between the two, and an overlap in some areas, there is also a distinct difference. Backup will allow you to recover lost data, emails and applications to your existing or new hardware, but what happens if your complete site is lost? Yes your data is still safe and can be recovered, but there may be significant down time. A disaster recovery site allows you to bring backup systems and data back online quickly at any time, regardless of the status of your primary systems.
We are not going to pretend a full DR solution is cheap, it isn’t, but what cost is several days or even weeks of downtime to your business whilst systems are rebuilt? If a full DR solution isn’t in your budget we can offer you a “semi” DR solution in conjunction with our Cloud Backup solution, so there are options to suit most budgets.

Key features and Benefits
Controlled
You have full control over what is replicated to your DR site and how often to match your company policy.
Flexible
Replicate full VMs or simply content to one of our pre-built VM templates for “semi” DR recovery of data.
Fast
Incremental transfer technology and client side compression before transfer reduces backup time and bandwidth usage.
Accessible
Your DR site can be accessed in multiple ways to suit your requirements, including VPN or open ports.
Secure
Data is encrypted by default, and access can be locked down by IP or any other suitable method.
Private
You will have your own public IP (or IPs) and your own firewall so your DR site is your own, not shared.
